1st Semester work by Harry Ortmans (Year 5) and Ryan Braithwaite (Year 5)
They focused on the rich diversity of the road and how perspective can skew the perception of success between these different cultures, with several iterations, the final installation tries to tie these conflicting communities together. The MöötRööt encompasses the passion of the local Islamic and Jewish culture regarding nature and life, as well as bringing each other together through an engaging passage and artefact. The artefact can be installed anywhere at anytime by anyone, encouraging interaction through doing and using. Use of the installation will enable users to chat about boundaries and open potential avenues to discuss the removal of certain barriers between communities. It will aid the reduction in segregation between the two main parties, yet,
increase awareness around certain religious routes.
